Heinen's, Simply Fresh Market, and Constantino's Market are all located nearby.

Fahrenheit Restaurant will be located within our building - it's currently under construction and opening is planned for June 2023. Notable nearby places to eat include Blue Point Grille, Johnny's Downtown, Tazi, Rebol, Wahlburgers, Marble Room, and East 4th Street restaurants. There are so many options not listed from fast casual to elegant gourmet dining - something for everyone!

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is located just 15 minutes from our community via I-90 to I-71.

Sherwin-Williams, Weston, Eaton, Parker Hannifin, Cleveland Clinic, PNC Bank National Association, University Hospitals,  Key Bank, Case Western Reserve University, City of Cleveland and so much more.

Residences at 55 is located in the heart of Downtown Cleveland. Akron is the next closest major city.

Residences at 55 is located just a short walk from the Warehouse District and the Terminal Tower. Also nearby is the Gateway District, Northcoast Harbor District, and Playhouse Square Theater District. Some close venues to check out are First Energy Stadium, Progressive Field, Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, JACK Cleveland Casino, Tower City Center, the Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, East 4th Street, and many other entertainment venues, museums, green spaces, Lake Erie, and more!

There are nice dog parks and a trail for walks along the river within walking distance of our community.

There's an RTA stop right outside our building, as well as close access to the Direct Rapid Transit Service in the lower level of Tower City.

Cleveland Municipal School District.

Saint Ignatius High School, Garrett Morgan High School, Clark Elementary School, Waverley Elementary School. 

We are located on West 3rd Street. Superior Avenue, St. Clair Avenue, Detroit Avenue, Euclid Avenue, Ontario Street, and Lakeside Avenue are all nearby, and I-90 and Rt. 2 are just a few blocks away.

Central location,  off of Cleveland's Public Square means all of Downtown Cleveland's attractions are within a 20 minute walk. 

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Mall C, Voinovich Bicentennial Park, USS COD, International Women's Air and Space Museum. 

Cleveland State University, Case Western Reserve University, the Cleveland Clinic, and University Hospitals are all located nearby.

First Energy Stadium (Cleveland Browns), Progressive Field (Cleveland Guardians), Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse (Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Monsters), Playhouse Square Theater District, House of Blues Cleveland, Odeon Concert Club, Music Box Supper Club, Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica, and Cleveland Public Auditorium are all nearby.

Maintenance

No, but when you place a work order through our portal, you have the option to choose to be home.

We have 24-hour on call maintenance.

You will put a work order in through our resident portal which gets sent directly to our maintenance  director.

We have an emergency maintenance phone number that is on a magnet on your refrigerator and also listed in the resident portal.

If you are locked out, you will have to contact our 24 hour security guard.

Amenities

We offer 18 different floor plan styles to choose from in the following sizes: 1 bedroom 1 bath are 605-990 sq. ft.; 1 bedroom 1.5 bath are 1140-1195 sq. ft.; 2 bedroom 2 bath are 1395-1405 sq. ft.; 2 bedroom 2.5 bath penthouses are 1800-2165 sq. ft.; 3 bedroom 3 bath penthouses are 2405-2415 sq. ft.

Yes, parking is $175 a month in our attached covered garage.

Fitness Center on the 2nd floor open 24/7, free to both residents and tenants. Community Room on the 2nd floor with bar area, community tables, fireplace, and multiple large screen TVs. Attached Fahrenheit Restaurant. Convenience Market with cafe located in the lobby. Package room, bike storage, and pet washing facility on-site. Wi-Fi access in all common areas.

Our rooftop deck is unavailable at the moment pending completion in Summer 2023.

No, but there are multiple dog parks within walking distance of our community!

Each suite is equipped with its own private full-size washer and dryer.

Yes. We accept dogs (1 per suite up to 30 pounds), and cats (up to 2 per suite), with 2 total pets allowed. There's a $20 fee per pet per month and $300 non-refundable deposit.

Every suite is furnished with a refrigerator, electric range with flat cooktop, built-in microwave, dishwasher, and full-size washer and dryer. Some suites also have a beverage center.

We do not offer furnished apartments at Residences at 55, but K&D does offer short-term fully furnished luxury apartments at Reserve Square and The Residences at Hanna.

Yes, parking is $175 a month in our attached covered garage.

Your application can be approved as quickly as the day you apply!

You can pay rent through our online resident portal, or deliver a check or money order to the leasing office.

Yes, every resident is required to purchase renters insurance. It must have a $100,000 liability amount (at minimum) and have K&D listed as secondary insured.

The building is wired for SNIP internet service.

To break the lease there is a $200 fee and you are financially responsible until the apartment is rented or the lease term is up.

You don’t have to! Utilities are all done through standard energy; you will be billed for them through your resident portal.

You are responsible for covering electric, water and HVAC. We cover trash and sewer.

We accept both appointments and walk-ins.

Other/Lease Up Questions

Residences at 55 stands apart from other nearby apartment communities due to our unique and central location, which allows residents to easily access Cleveland's Warehouse, Erieview, and Gateway Districts. 

Our central location means our community is surrounded by excellent restaurant options and local business. These range from, Armando's Barbershop, to Rebol Cleveland, Aqua Di Luca, and a host of nightlife options in the Warehouse District.

Our suites come standard with matte black finishes, white quartz countertops, and walk-in glass showers (in select suites). Roller shades are provided on all windows through each suite (bedrooms have blackout roller shades).
